Double Station Eddy Current Testing Machine
Major Features of Our MPI Machines
- Two independent testing stations — run simultaneously, each with its own coil, channel and parameter set
- Higher throughput per shift — doubles inspection capacity without doubling machine footprint
- Independent calibration per station — different part types or diameters can be tested at each station without recalibrating between runs
- PLC-based control with a touchscreen interface for program selection, parameter storage and result logging
- Automatic reject/accept sorting — flagged parts are separated from good parts without manual intervention
- Compact, production-line-ready footprint
Double Station Eddy Current Testing Machine
The Double Station Eddy Current Testing Machine is built for manufacturers who need higher inspection throughput without adding a second machine to the line. Two independent testing stations operate side by side, each capable of running its own test parameters — so two different parts, or two positions on the same part, can be inspected in a single cycle.
Eddy current testing works by inducing an alternating current into a conductive component and measuring how that current is disrupted by surface and near-surface defects — cracks, seams, laps, inclusions, and inconsistencies in heat treatment or material grade. It’s a fast, non-contact method suited to high-volume production environments where 100% inspection is required.
